Three Lancers were named OUA all-stars as the No. 4 Lancer men's cross country team captured a silver medal at the OUA Championships on Saturday morning in Kingston, ON.
Corey Bellemore, Matt Travaglini, and
Paul Janikowski led the way as the Lancers finished the race with 71 team points to claim the second place spot.
Bellemore placed eighth overall with a time of 31:26.53 to be named a second team all-star. Also named to the second team, Travaglini finished the 10km race in eleventh place with a time of 31.39. 53, while Janikowski was thirteenth at 31:45.21.
Dave Meloche and
Jordan Collison placed 19th and 20th, respectively, to close out the Lancer scoring.
On the women's side, Stef Smith earned herself a second team all-star nod with a 10th place finish overall. Smith completed the 6km course in a time of 21.31.28 to help the women finish ninth overall in team standings.

Lindsay Thompson (24:10.12), and Alexadra Moore (24:26.22).
With their second place finish the Lancer men qualify for the CIS Championships on November 8th Newfoundland.
