The Lancers men's hockey team tightened up the race at the top of the OUA West division after handily defeating the Toronto Varsity Blues 5-1 on Saturday evening at South Windsor Arena. After scoring three goals in under three minutes during the middle period, the men added two more insurance markers in the third to solidify the win on Senior's Night. Windsor is 16-10-0 on the season and sits tied for third-place in the West, just a single point back of Lakehead. The Lancers travel to the provincial capital this weekend to round out their regular season. The men take on the York Lions on Friday night, and will then face-off with Ryerson (16-10-0) in a battle for playoff positioning on Saturday afternoon.
