The Windsor Lancers have swept the OUA Athlete of the Week honours as
Korissa Williams from the Lancer women's basketball team and
Mac McDonnell from men's hockey chosen for their excellent performances last week.

The fourth year Lancer had a tremendous weekend for the Windsor women's basketball team as they claimed their fourth straight CIS national title. Williams had two double-doubles over the weekend, and was a persistent presence on the court.

In the opening game, Korissa had 10 points and 10 rebounds in Windsor's dominating 81-53 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks. In the semi-finals vs Fraser Valley, Williams had a team-high 11 rebounds to help the Blue & Gold advance to the CIS final for the fifth consecutive year as they defeated the Cascades 65-45. In the final against Saint Mary's, Korissa was once again a force to be reckoned with as she had the game's only double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds as Windsor earned their fourth straight title and second on home court, with a 71-45 win.

A driving force on the Lancer offence, McDonnell played a key role in the Windsor Lancer men's hockey team capturing their second Queen's Cup as the OUA men's hockey provincial champions.

The OUA all-rookie scored the Lancers second goal of the night in Windsor's 3-2 win over the McGill Redman at South Windsor Arena, and helped the Lancers to the third seed heading into the CIS Championships this week in Saskatoon
