Three members of the Lancer Football program have been named to the OUA all-rookie team, as announced Tuesday by Ontario University Athletics (OUA).
 
Earning their way onto the roster are quarterback Liam Putt, defensive back Spencer Trinier, and offensive lineman Drew Desjarlais.
 
Playing in seven of the Lancers eight games, Putt earned his way into the starting spot and finished the season with 984 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 177 yards on 25 carries.
 
Trinier finished second overall in Lancer defense with 34 total tackles (24 solo, 20 assisted), 1 sack and a fumble recovery, while Desjarlais played a key role on the Lancer offensive line at the guard position.
