The Windsor Lancers and NBA Canada are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a skills competition on Saturday January 16, 2016 at the St. Denis Centre.
Â
If you have ever dreamt of being an NBA all-star, now is your chance! Members of the Windsor-Essex community that are 14 years of age or older, as of January 16th, are invited to compete in a dunk contest, a 3-point contest, or a skills challenge for a chance to compete at the NBA all-star game in Toronto in February.
Â
Top performers from Saturday's qualifier will advance and compete in the next round, held during the women's and men's basketball games that night against the Algoma Thunderbirds starting at 6:00pm.
Â
NBA Legend Morris Peterson (former Toronto Raptor) will be on site at the Skills Challenge and will also be at the men's game that night.
Â
The event is free to enter, with registration beginning at 11:30am at the St. Denis Centre. Any questions or pre-registrations can be directed to
