The Windsor Lancers are pleased to announce that linebacker Dan Metcalfe of the Lancer Football program has been named to the OUA all-rookie team.
 
In his first season, the Kingsville, Ont. native led the team with 44 assisted tackles, while his 57 total tackles ranked him second.
 
"Dan Metcalfe had an outstanding year for us a rookie. He was everything that we thought we were going to get," said Lancer football head coach Joe D'Amore. "He came into his own as the season came on and he was our leading tackler for most of the year. We are exciting about him only getting better and raising his game in the future."
