Three Lancers recognized by the OUA

The Lancer men's volleyball team earned three OUA all-star nods this season. Middle blocker Josh Edwards was named to the OUA second-team all-star list for the 2015-16 season, while Brad Gyemi and John Moate were named to the OUA all-rookie team.

After returning to the Lancers after a few years off, Josh had a stellar comeback season. He ranked second in the OUA for hitting percentage with a .392 average, while also earning a third place finish for solo blocks with 27. Throughout the season, Edwards averaged 2.49 kills per set and .84 blocks. Josh's experience and maturity were key for the young Lancer squad this year and he will be greatly missed next season.

Gyemi and Moate each had strong freshman seasons for the Blue & Gold. Gyemi led the team in total kills with 176, averaging 3.09 per set. He placed second overall on the squad with 205.5 total points and had 85 digs throughout the season.

Moate finished the season with 110 total kills, 159.5 points, 24 digs and was second overall on the team with a kill percentage of .309.

Congratulations Lancers on a great season!
