Lawrence named U SPORTS all-Canadian

The Windsor Lancers are pleased to announce that women's hockey forward Krystin Lawrence has been named a U SPORTS all-Canadian for the 2016-17 season.

Following a season that saw her lead the conference in scoring for the second straight year, Lawrence was named OUA Player of the Year.  Now in her third season with the Lancers, Lawrence scored 23 goals in 24 games this season and finished the year with a league-high 32 points.

The Tecumseh, ON native was also named an OUA first-team all-star for the first time in her career after being named to the second-team a season ago and a member of the all-rookie team back in 2014-15.

Lawrence became the first Windsor student-athlete to be named OUA Player of the Year since former Lancer Jenny MacKnight earned the honours following the 2013-14 season. A two-sport athlete, Lawrence was also named an OUA first-team all-star earlier this year as goaltender for the Lancer women's soccer team.

Congratulations Krystin!
