Frank Jeney have announced the dates for the 2017 open tryouts, which will be held on Thursday, September 8th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lancers Home Field, located in Amherstburg Ontario at the Libro Credit Union Centre baseball field. (3295 Meloche Road Amherstburg, ON N9V 2Y8.)
Anyone interested in attending must be enrolled full-time (at least 3 classes) for Fall 2017 at the University of Windsor, and bring a glove, cleats, and proper baseball equipment.

The Lancer baseball team Finished as the National Runner-Up in the NCBA Division 2 at the World Series in Pittsburg Kansas. The Lancers had one student-athlete Graduate in 2017.  Last season, Lancer baseball has volunteered over 500 community service hours, including weekly visits to Habitat for Humanity, working baseball clinics, and various other community initiatives. This past season, the program was honored by Habitat for Humanity with the Community Service Award for its community outreach efforts.
In 2017/2018 the Lancers have moved up to the NCBA Division 1, and will compete in the Great Lakes North Division. The Lancers will also head to the OUA Tournament in October hosted by Ryerson University.
