The Windsor Lancers are pleased to announce that four members of the Lancer men's volleyball team have been recognized by Ontario University Athletics (OUA), as announced Tuesday.

John Moate and
Pierce Johnson have been named OUA west division first-team all-stars, Brad Geymi joins the second-team all-stars, and first year
Anthony DeGirolamo was named to the OUA west all-rookie team.

This is the second straight year that Moate, Johnson, and Gyemi have been recognized by the league. Moate makes the move from the second all-star team and finished the year atop the league in blocks per set, averaging 1.26 per set.

Johnson, a 2017 all-rookie team member, finished third in the league in total kills with 228, while Gyemi makes is second straight appearance as a second-team all-star, finishing the year with 205 total kills, to place him 5th in the OUA.

Rookie setter DeGirolamo had a stellar first year finishing second on the team in assists with 161.

The Lancers season continues this weekend at the OUA Final Four. They face the top seeded McMaster Marauders at 8:00pm Friday night March 9th. The game can be seen live at oua.tv.
