Lancers capture 15 medals over the weekend at Notre Dame and York

Ben Lane and the Lancer 4x400 relay team set a meet record over the weekend.
The Windsor Lancers Track and Field team earned and impressive 15 medals and met four CIS championship qualifying benchmarks over the weekend at events at Notre Dame and York University. 

Noelle Montcalm had two CIS qualifying performances at Notre Dame's Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind., winning gold in the 300-metre event with a time of 38.85 seconds and silver in the 200-metre event in 24.10. 

Qualifying in pole vault at the York Open were Erika Reiser, who won gold (3.80 metres) and Jeff Vukasovic, who earned silver (4.85). 

Also winning gold at York were Hannah Bagnall in the 60 metre hurdles (9.11) and Mitch Tome in the 600 metres (1:21.44).

The Lancer Men's 4 x 400 metre relay team of Mitch Tome, Dustin Eldridge, Ben Lane and Camilo Quevedo (3:21.54) also won gold and set a meet record.
