Five Lancers named OUA Baseball all-stars; Prsa named rookie of the year

The Lancer baseball team is proud to have five members of their roster named 2019-20 OUA all-stars.
 
Anthony Fehr (2B), Keith McGregor (SS), and Jacob Prsa (OF) were named second-team all stars, while Matt Ferro (DH), and Noah Pickering (RP) were named first-team all stars.
 
Prsa was also honoured as the OUA Rookie of the Year for his outstanding performance at the OUA championships this past weekend.
 
In four games played, Prsa was outstanding for the blue and gold. With a .375 batting average at 16 at bats, he had six hits, one double, one triple, a team high seven RBIs, and two stolen bases.
 
Fehr also played all four games and put up a .300 batting average in ten at bats. He had three hits, four walks and four RBIs. McGregor had a .417 batting average in 12 at bats with five hits and two RBIs.
 
On the first team, Ferro had a .500 batting average in 12 at bats with six hits, five RBIs and two walks, while Pickering came in for one save, 2.1 innings pitched, three strikeouts and zero runs.
 
Another notable performance on the weekend was first baseman Max Musyj. Musyj played all four games for the blue and gold, had a .538 batting average on 13 at bats. Had seven hits, nine RBIs, two doubles, and one home run.
