BLUE AND GOLD ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS
The Windsor Lancers pride themselves on offering the best student experience possible amongst Canada's top universities.
As such, we are pleased to be able to provide Blue and Gold Athletic Scholarships to incoming and returning student-athletes.
Under the OUA policy, varsity teams in Ontario are able to award a maximum of $4,000 per year to qualified student-athletes in addition to regular academic awards and bursaries to help with expenses for the school year.
Our athletic scholarships help our athletes with the cost of education and allow the University of Windsor to recruit to best student-athletes across Canada and the United States.
Who is eligible?
To qualify for these athletic scholarships, entering student-athletes (individuals who have yet to complete two full semesters of study in one academic year at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport school they are attending) must have a minimum academic average of 80 percent to be eligible.
Returning student-athletes can also qualify for these athletic awards and must maintain a minimum average of 70 percent in each academic year to remain eligible.
How do I apply?
To apply for a athletic scholarship award at the University of Windsor, you must contact the Head Coach of your particular sport who will then provide you with a form to fill out for consideration.
