In the second half the Lancers defense came out with renewed energy, stifling the Lions attack. Rocca continued his scoring run as the Lancers worked to overcome their four-point halftime deficit. The York defense played hard, holding the visiting Lancers to 35 per cent shooting through the second half, however their offense was running into trouble, hitting only 18 per cent of their second half looks. The Lancers were finally able to capitalize on the defensive effort and take the lead late in the fourth quarter. Rocca iced the game away from the free throw line and the Lancers won a close one, 65-61.
