Windsor Lancers

The Centre for Human Performance & Health (CHPH) is located within the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor and brings together experts from the Department of Kinesiology and the Division of Athletics and Recreation Services. The CHPH offers expertise in sport science and sport medicine and is responsible for supporting Lancer athletes to achieve their potential.

 

DR. ANDREW PERROTTA

Dr. Andrew Perrotta is the principal investigator for the CHPH Laboratory. His research program concentrates primarily on sport science and sport medicine and its direct application to enhancing health and sport performance. His students conduct applied research within the daily training environment of the Windsor Lancer varsity programs. Dr. Perrotta’s graduate students primarily focus on examining the dose-response to exercise using wearable technology to quantify exercise stress, and to examine the response in biological function and athletic performance.
