Fall Intramural eSports Champions Crowned

In a season like no other, Lancer Rec wrapped up the fall intramural eSport leagues this past Sunday. Teams battled on the last day of competition for a chance to win $25 gift cards.
 
In the FIFA 21 league, Saffat Khan and Tyrell Charles battled for first place all season long. On champions day they met one another in the finals and the matchup did not disappoint. Saffat emerged victorious by a slim margin in the best of 3 finals, winning the series 2-1. Congratulations on an awesome season Saffat!

In the NBA 2K20 league, our summer league champion Moses Genat was back to defend his crown. After an undefeated regular season, he continued his strong play on champions day and was crowned champion once again. Congratulations Moses!

Rocket League 1v1 had some exciting and unexpected results on champions day. Although Michael Khosho did not finish first in the regular season, his strong play allowed him to go through the bracket undefeated and pull off the upset. Congratulations on your well-deserved win, Michael!

The final was highly anticipated with some great play from every team all season long. The finals game down to the top two teams from the regular season and the live stream viewers watched with excitement.
 
Peter Vu and Daniom Hailemariam saved their strongest games for the end and came out with a solid victory, earning them each a $25 gift card.
