While Xavier Ochu quietly snagged 8 rebounds, dished out 8 assists and added 8 points of his own to the mix in a well-rounded effort for the blue and gold ballers.

The York Lions were led by Prince Kamunga who despite having a game-high of 24 points and 9 rebounds in the cause it was not enough to take down the Lancers this time around.

GAME FLOW
In the opening quarter, the Lancers were outscored by the Lions 22-14 who came ready to play right out of the gate even though Barbieri scored the first point of the match at the charity stripe on a free throw opportunity.  York would establish a comfortable lead to close out the quarter up 22-14 on the home team.

The second quarter saw the Lancers come alive offensively outscoring the Lions 22-20 in the frame despite heading into halftime trailing 42-36 to the Lions.

Brown-Henderson helped the blue and gold wake up their sleeping giant offence to get the ball rolling more favourably in their court to be within six points heading into the locker rooms to close out the first half.

Third quarter action saw the Lancers able to tie the game up at 49-49 at the 6:36 mark but the Lions would go on to reclaim their lead and not forfeit it to the Lancers who continued to elevate their team's play.  Windsor would close out the quarter down 64-58 even though each team equally scored 22 points for their respective side during the third.

The fourth quarter demonstrated the Lancers willingness to win as they were able to find the necessary energy and momentum needed to implement consistent success and restore the faith of completing a comeback.  They dominated the quarter outmatching their opponents 26-11 in scoring within the final quarter.

Kennedy and Brown-Henderson turned up the heat to propel the blue and gold to overtake the Lions lead left off from the third and establish a new Lancer lead to worry York late in the contest.

Solid defence by the Lancers also produced yielding results for the Lions offence who tried to launch desperate three-point opportunities down the stretch to snatch back their initially established lead.

In the end, it proved to be not enough for York to overturn the Lancers path to a weekend sweep by closing out the game in respectable fashion by a score of 84-75 over the Lions.
