Falk, a Windsor native and proud Lancer alumnus, has been named as assistant coach with the Lancer cross country team beginning fall 2018. A product of Riverside high school, Falk competed for the Lancers for 5 years from 2009 to 2013, where he was a two time All Canadian while captaining the team in his final year. The 2013-2014 season was arguably his best year as he finished 9th at the U SPORTS Cross Country Championships to earn a spot on the Canadian team competing at the FISU World University Cross Country Championships.
Falk followed that up with a gold medal winning performance at the OUA track and field championships in the 3000m. Continuing to prove himself as one of the best distance runners in Canada, Falk has represented the red and white a total of 3 times including the most recent World Cross Country Championships in 2017. Alongside his running success, Falk completed his undergrad and master’s degree in environmental science and is currently working towards completing his PHD at Windsor with the Great Lakes Institute of Research.
