Austin Roth

Austin, an alumnus of the Lancer Track and Field program, is an assistant coach helping Brett Lumley with the jumpers and combined events athletes.

Austin joined the coaching staff 5 years ago following a successful varsity career where he was a 2 time Bronze medalist in the 60mH, a member of the 2011 CIS Men’s Championship team and 4 OUA team titles.

A graduate of the University of Windsor HK program majoring in sport management with a minor in political science, Austin is currently completing his masters in sport management.  In 2018, Austin was recognized by the United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County as one of 40 under 40 Outstanding Individuals making an impact in the Windsor-Essex community. 

Austin played a role in the Lancer Sports Recreation Complex referendum which will see the building a new $73 million sports and recreation facility for the University of Windsor.

A coaching highlight for Austin was being on the staff that won the last back to back men’s CIS Championships in 2015 and 2016 and on the staff of Dennis Fairall’s last season as head coach back in 2015.
