Rich Coughlin

Ritch is a graduate of the University of Windsor and is back for his second stint as a coach with the Lancer Track and Field program.  The 2017 University of Windsor Sports Hall of Fame inductee was instrumental in the development of the Lancer horizontal jumps program between 1988 to 1998.  It was during this time that Ritch coached 4 female long jumpers over 6 metres (including 3 at the 1995 OUA Championships) and the first Canadian female triple jumper to break 13 metres in Kelly Dinsmore back in 1993.  Kelly went on to represent Canada at the 1993 World Indoors and later that summer at the World University games in the triple jump.
 
The 1993 Ontario 3M Coach of the Year and 1994 University of Windsor Gino Fracas Award Winner (Coach of the Year), coach Coughlin has also coaches 5 female triple jumpers over 12 metres, an All-Canadian Triple Jumper 6 times and an All-Canadian long jumper for 7 consecutive seasons.
