Don Garrod is entering his 21th season with the Lancers as an Assistant Sprints and Hurdles coach.

In 1997, Don was honored with the University of Windsor Gino Fracas Coach of the year award and has been a part of 13 CIS Championships with the Lancers.

Born in Chatham Ontario, Garrod is a graduate of the University of Windsor and is a Level II coach.

As an athlete, he brought home an OFSSA Relay Gold medal and a Canadian Junior Bronze. One of the highlights of his career includes coaching Lancer Hall of Fame sprinter O’Brian Gibbons to the Olympics.
