Windsor Lancers

Parker Van Buskirk was virtually unstoppable this past weekend as the Lancer men's hockey team took on the Lakehead Thunderwolves in the OUA West semi-finals. At Lakehead for the final two games of the series, the Windsor Ontario native made 37 saves in Windsor's 4-1 game two victory to force a series deciding game three. In game three on Saturday, Windsor got another terrific goaltending performance from Van Buskirk who stopped 48 of 50 shots to lead the Lancers to a 3-2 overtime win, and advance to the OUA West finals for the first time in over a decade. Behind Van Buskirk's performance, the Lancers became the first team to ever sweep the Thunderwolves at home in the post season.
