Seeded third in the women’s shot put heading into the CIS National Track & Field championships last weekend in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Celine defeated the odds and brought home a gold medal in the event. Celine’s throw of 14.60m was the best in her event, and earned the Lancers 10 points towards their fourth straight CIS national championship title.
