Jill had a remarkable performance in the women’s weight throw on day two of the inter-squad meet. On Jill’s third throw of the competition she achieved a personal best, meet record well as the CIS auto qualification mark by 1cm, throwing 16.97m. Achieving those marks did not stop her there. The third year thrower bested her previous mark in the fifth round hitting 17.10m. An incredible mark to hit this early in the season, Jill will look to improve on her sixth place finish at last year CIS championships and improve on her personal best measurement.
