The 4th year libero had an amazing night on Saturday in the OUA quarter-finals against the Ryerson Rams. Led by Blase’s outstanding play, the Blue & Gold upset the CIS ranked No. 9 Rams and advanced to the OUA Final Four. Blase had 15 digs in four sets and made one amazing play after another in the final set that sealed the Lancers first playoff victory in over 10 years. Throughout the game, he quarterbacked the passing rotation and controlled all of the powerful spin-serves from the Rams.
