Spencer Pommells had an outstanding week for the Lancer men’s hockey team to help them advance to the OUA West Division Finals for the fourth consecutive year. The No. 8 ranked Lancers swept the Lakehead Thunderwolves with consecutive home-and-home victories. In Wednesday’s 4-3 win in Thunder Bay, the CIS leading scorer had a natural hat-trick and followed that up with another three point performance on Saturday (1G, 2A) in the Lancers 6-3 win at South Windsor Arena on Saturday night. He is currently second overall in post season scoring with 10 points in 5 games played.
