On Friday evening, Speechely-Price, a third-year Business student-athlete, opened the scoring in the 12th minute against the Waterloo Warriors and the Lancers never looked back. Speechely-Price would add two more goals late in the 44th and 55th minutes to complete the hat trick as Windsor defeated Waterloo 6-0.
On Saturday, the 6’5” 195 lbs forward once again opened the scoring in the 42nd minute against the Laurier Golden Hawks. The Lancers would add another in the second half, defeating the Golden Hawks 2-0, with Speechely-Price scoring the game winning goal in both games.
Through six games this season, Speechely-Price leads OUA and CIS with seven goals. The Lancers have opened the season with a 4-1-1 record and find themselves keeping pace with the defending CIS champion York Lions atop the OUA West division.
