For the fourth straight week a new Lancer track & field has been set, this time on the men’s side in the men’s mile. Senior distance runner Corey Bellemore captured a silver medal at the Akron Invitational with a time of 4:01.99 which broke Anthony Berkis' 2012 record of 4:02.57 in the event.
