Melissa established a new facility record at Grand Valley State University on Friday running the 600 metres in 1:31.49. Her time stands as the second fastest ever by a Windsor Lancer athlete and is close to the oldest school record on the books. Bishop qualified for the CIS Championships in both the 600 metre and the 4 x 400m relay, with the #1 ranked times in the CIS.
