According to men's volleyball head coach James Gravelle, Pierce's performance this weekend at the OUA Final Four was "off the charts!" The Tecumseh, ON native had 15pts in 4 sets vs McMaster in the team's semi-final on Friday night and was named Lancers Player of the Game. On Saturday Pierce scored 26.5pts (24 kills, 1 ace, 1.5 blocks) to lead the Lancers to the OUA Bronze medal. Gravelle continued, "It seemed that all facets of Pierce's game were at a new level and he played his best in the big moments."
