The native of Cooper Cliff, ON was named the OUA's female athlete of the week, after two sensational performances. With one loss eliminating her team from the OUA playoffs, goaltender Jamie Tessier backstopped the Windsor Lancers to two overtime victories over nationally-ranked teams. On Feb. 15, needing a victory over the undefeated No. 2 Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks just to earn a post-season invite, Tessier made 52 saves in a 2-1 overtime win, ending Laurier's 26-game win streak. Then on Saturday in a sudden death quarter-final against the No. 9 York Lions, the fourth-year communications major made 51 saves in double overtime as the Lancers won 3-2. Over the two-game span Tessier had a save percentage of .946.
