Windsor Lancers

The first year libero from Georgetown, Ontario has been a standout performer for the Blue and Gold each match this season and Saturday night at Ryerson Steven took his play to a whole new level.  In a match featuring an offensive duel by all-Canadians Pierce Johnson and Ryerson's Xander Ketrzynski it was Abrams, who turned 19 earlier in the week, who received much of the post-match accolades from players and coaches on both sides of the net.  Steven led the #10-ranked Lancers with 11 digs but it was his incredible passing versus the Rams' big spike servers that allowed the Lancers offense to shine and sparked the dramatic 5-set comeback victory after being down two sets to zero.
