Peklova had a great opening weekend for the women’s basketball team, as the team’s most consistent player in their weekend sweep over York and Laurentian. In the Lancers 89-49 win over York, the Prague, CZ native registered 13 points and 5 rebounds. On Saturday against Laurentian, she was a force defensively with a game high 5 steals, and keeping herself poised defensively kept herself in the game and registered the game’s only double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
