Shomari Grant had an outstanding debut for the Blue & Gold, as he led the Lancers to a 38-5 victory over the visiting Toronto Varsity Blues in the season opener. The first year Lancer ran for 112 yards in 21 carries, and registered his first OUA touchdown in the win.
