Paul Scott has been the head coach of the Windsor Lancer softball team since 2016.
Under Scott’s leadership, the blue and gold have been multiple successes and made a return to the OIWFA (now OUS) championships in 2017 after a year hiatus.
Well known throughout the Windsor-Essex softball community, Scott was inducted into the Windsor-Essex Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame in 2020.
He is also a learning facilitator for Softball Ontario teaching the required levels for new to provincial level coaches.
In the summers, Scott is a Coach for the LaSalle Athletics Blue & Gold Team to help his athletes stay together in the off-season. He has coached with the organization for many years and has led his teams to great success at the provincial, national, and international levels.
Scott is also currently on the Executive Committee at the Turtle Club, serving in the role of Vice President of the organization, specifically in charge of Policy and Complaint Resolution.
Personally, Scott is retired from the Ontario Provincial Police where he was a detective sergeant.
