Steve Hart is the Head Coach of the Windsor Lancers Soccer program and also the Director of Lancer Soccer Operations.
One of the most experienced soccer coaches in the province, Coach Hart has twice been named the OUA soccer coach of the year.
After coaching the Lancer men for eight seasons, Coach Hart took over the helm of both men's and women's programs in 2014.
In 2013, Coach Hart led the Lancer men's team to an OUA bronze medal after qualifying for the Final Four for the first time in over 20 years.
In 2009, Coach Hart had a remarkable season as he led the Lancers to their best regular season finish in almost 20 years and was named the OUA Men’s Soccer Coach of the Year and the Windsor Lancers Gino Fracas Coach of the Year.
The Lancers placed second overall in the OUA West with an 8-1-5 record, losing only one regular season game in regulation and earning a bye in the first round of the OUA playoffs.
His leadership running the Lancer Soccer program helped his squad finish the season in the Top Ten in Canada, finishing at #9 nationally.
He wasted little time developing the Lancers into a provincial contender after joining the Unversity of Windsor in 2006. In his first season at the helm of the Lancer men's soccer team, he led the Lancers to a fourth place in the West Division and improved his team's offensive output from minus-three to plus-six.
In the local soccer community, Steve is highly regarded as an outstanding club coach and administrator, having won numerous provincial and regional honours, including the 2001 U-19 Ontario Cup.
As an Ontario Soccer Association Staff Instructor, Hart teaches the O.S.A. community courses in coaching and is also an Ontario Soccer Association Assessor for the Provincial Licensing Courses.
Coach Hart holds his Canadian National B License, his Ontario B and C License, his NCCP Level III in Theory and his Level III as a Soccer Referee.
