Women's Basketball to battle Brock Badgers in Saturday night action

Shavaun Reaney and the Lancers will battle the Badgers on Saturday night.
The Windsor Lancers Women's Basketball team, ranked #2 in Canada, will host the Brock Bagers on Saturday night in conference play at the St. Denis Centre.

Coach Vallee's squad is coming off an impressive 94-81 victory over the Western Mustangs on Wednesday night in Windsor. Rookie standout Jessica Clemencon paced the Lancer attack with 36 points and 7 rebounds.

The Lancers are coming off their most successful first half of a season in program history as they are currently undefeated in conference play with an 8-0 record.

Over the holidays, the Lancers captured the Lancer Holiday Classic Tournament title with impressive victories over the Toronto Varsity Blues and #4 ranked Laval.

Women's Opening Tip
The Lancer Women are ranked #2 in the country and lead the OUA West Division with a perfect 9-0 record. It was the first time in program history that the Lancer Women have been undefeated coming off the holiday break.
 
Brock is 7-2 in the OUA West and they sit just two games behind the Lancers in the standings.
 
Last season, the Lancers swept the Badgers in their two meetings.

The team is lead in scoring by rookie sensation Jessica Clemencon who is averaging 15.6 points per game. Bojana Kovacevic averages 12.9 ppg while Shavaun Reaney sits at 12.0 ppg.

Tip-off for the women's game is at 6pm while the men's game will start at 8pm. Admission is free for all University of Windsor students (with valid ID); $8 for general admission and $5 for seniors and youths.
