Shavaun Reaney made her last regular season home game a memorable one as she helped the Lancers to a convincing 74-35 victory over the McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon at the St. Denis Centre.

With the victory, the Lancers finish the regular season with an incredible 21-1 record and with the OUA West regular season title for the second straight year.

Coach Vallee's squad has been dominant over the past two years as they own a 42-2 record in conference play.

They have earned a bye through the first round of the playoffs and will prepare to host the OUA West Semi-Final on Saturday, February 27th at 6pm at the St. Denis Centre.

Saturday's victory also came on Seniors Day as the Lancers recognized the contributions of graduating seniors Amy Bakos (injured) and Shavaun Reaney.

Reaney was outstanding in her home finale as she finished with 11 points , 5 assists and 5 rebounds in the 39-point victory over the Marauders.

On Saturday, the Lancers jumped out to a huge lead early as they combined a balanced offensive attack with some fierce defensive pressure.

The home team held the Marauders to only 9 points in the first quarter and 6 points in the second quarter as they built a commanding 35-15 lead at halftime.

The second half was more of the same as the Marauders had no answer for Windsor`s high powered offense.

Windsor would outscore McMaster 21-6 in the fourth quarter as they easily finished off the 74-35 victory.

In the win, Bojana Kovacevic led all scorers with 15 points and 6 rebounds while Raelyn Prince added 13 points and 3 rebounds.

Miah Langlois also had a strong game as she finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Emily Abbott chipped in with 13 points including 3 of 5 from downtown.

Taylor Smith had 11 points for McMaster on 2 of 11 shooting. The Marauders struggled shooting the ball as they finished the game only 11 of 46 from the field.

The Lancers will now open their defense of the OUA Championship next Saturday, February 27th in the OUA West Semi-Finals. Tip-off is set for 6pm. Their opponent will be decided after Wednesday`s OUA West Quarter-Final games.
