Box Score 2 The No. 3 ranked Lancer women's basketball team swept the RMC Paladins and Queen's Gaels this weekend at the St. Denis Centre to close out the first half of the season and inter-lock play with the East Division.
Windsor has now completed their interlock play and enters the holiday break with a 6-2 record and in second place in the OUA West Division.
On Friday night, the No. 3 Windsor Lancers rolled to an 86-38 win over the Royal Military College Paladins at the St. Denis Centre.
The Lancers built a big first half lead and cruised to victory over the Paladins. They were able to play all dressed players against RMC and got some of their younger players some significant minutes in the process.

Iva Peklova had a game-high 12 points, while Miah Langlois,
Jessica Clemencon, and
Korissa Williams chipped in with 11 points each.
Emily Abbott finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds.
On Saturday,
Iva Peklova tallied a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Lancers to an 83-53 win over the Queen's Gaels.
Windsor held Queen's to only 10 points in the first quarter and built a 39-25 lead at the half. Another outstanding defensive effort by Windsor in the third held the Gaels to only 13 points on their way to the thirty point victory.
The Lancers had four players score in double figures, including
Jessica Clemencon with 13 points and 11 rebounds,
Bojana Kovacevic with 13 points, and Emily Abbot with 11. Windsor also shot 40% from the field against Queen's.
The Blue & Gold will now break from regular season action for the holidays, and return to the court on Wednesday January 4th when they host the McMaster Marauders at 6:00pm at the St. Denis Centre.
