Box Score The Windsor Lancers Men's Basketball team, led by
Enrico Diloreto's 30 point performance, dominated the Waterloo Warriors 109-80 on Wednesday night at the St. Denis Centre.
With the victory, the Lancers move to 13-6 in conference play and remain in second place in the OUA West Division.
On Wednesday, the Lancers held a slight one-point advantage over the Warriors, 19-18 after one quarter of play.
Windsor began to build momentum in the second quarter as they used some solid outside shooting from
Isaac Kuon and
Enrico Diloreto to go up 45-30 at the break.
The second half was all Lancers as they went on a 22-6 run to open the third quarter, including 10 straight points from
Enrico Diloreto.
In all, Windsor scored 35 points in the quarter to take a commanding 80-56 lead after three.
The fourth quarter continued to be dominated by the Lancers as they extended to a 30-point lead en route to the 109-80 victory.
Diloreto led all scorers with 30 points of 10 of 17 shooting and added 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
Isaac Kuon finished with 25 points while
Josh Collins added 10 points and 11 assists.
Lien Phillip had a monster game on the boards as he hauled down 17 rebounds to go along with his 8 points.
Monty Hardware added 10 points while rookie
Evan Matthews finished with 8 points.
The Lancers will head on the road on Saturday to take on the Laurier Golden Hawks in a battle for second place in the OUA West standings. Tip-off is set for 8pm.
