Lancer women's basketball coach Chantal Vallée captured her 100th CIS career win on Wednesday night, as the Lancers cruised to a 91-41 win over the visiting Waterloo Warriors.
After the Warriors opened the game with a 7-0 run, the Lancers outscored the visitors 30-3 in the last eight minutes of the first quarter to take a commanding lead.
With a twenty point lead heading into the half, Windsor was able to play all dressed players against Waterloo and got some of their younger players some significant minutes in the process.
Led by Jessica Clemencon's 26 point, 9 rebound performance, the Lancers outscored the Warriors 44-14 in the second half to earn the win.
In addition to Clemencon, Windsor was led by Miah Langlois with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and Iva Peklova with 12 points and 9 rebounds.
The Lancers will face the Brock Badgers on Friday night at 7:00pm in St. Catharine's, before heading to Hamilton to face the McMaster Marauders at 12:00pm. The McMaster game can be seen live on TVCogeco in Windsor.
