The No. 1 Windsor Lancers women's basketball team will open the 2013 portion of their schedule tomorrow night as they host the Laurier Golden Hawks at the St. Denis Centre at 6:00pm.

The Lancers (7-0) are undefeated in regular season action and are tied for first place in the OUA West division with the Brock Badgers. However, Windsor enters 2013 with a pair of two straight losses at the Concordia Reebok Tournament, where the team went 1-2 overall during the holiday break. The Lancers opened the tournament with a convincing win over the McGill Martlets before dropping two straight to the Concordia Stingers and Carleton Ravens.
 
Conference all-stars Korissa Williams and Jessica Clemencon have been excellent for the Lancers during the first half of the season, both averaging 16.0 points per game. Clemencon leads the team in rebounds with 6.4, while Williams averages 5.6 a game.
 
The Laurier Golden Hawks (3-4) closed out the first half of the season with a pair of losses to Ottawa and Carleton, and did not play during the break. They are led by senior guard Amber Hillis who averages 11 points per game, and 2.1 rebounds per game.
