Box Score TORONTO- Korissa Williams tallied a game-high 17 points, and the Windsor Lancers women's basketball team won their fourth game in a row on Friday evening at the Mattamy Athletic Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens), topping the Ryerson Rams 78-53.

Williams was an impressive 8-of-11 from the floor and added six assists, four rebounds and four steals to help the national No. 2 ranked Lancers improve to 4-1 on the season. Jessica Clemencon tallied 13 points and a game-best 16 rebounds to claim her second double-double of the year. Jocelyn LaRocque drained four jumpers from beyond the arc and recorded 14 points in the win, and rookie Cheyanne Roger reached double-digits for the first time in her young career, tallying 10 on the evening.

Windsor found their shot from the opening tip-off, grabbing 29 first quarter points to take a hefty advantage over Ryerson. Miah-Marie Langlois was particularly potent in the opening half, dropping all of her 11 points in the first and second quarter as the Lancers took a 53-28 lead into the locker rooms.

The offence slowed down for both squads in the second half, as the women maintained a substantial advantage throughout the final two periods to claim their fourth consecutive victory.

The three-time defending national champions will look to continue their unbeaten streak on Saturday night against the Toronto Varsity Blues. Game-time is set for 6:00 p.m. The game will be available live online here.
