Jessica Clemencon dropped a game-high 29 points, leading the Windsor Lancers to a 14th straight victory as they topped the host Western Mustangs 89-69 at Alumni Hall on Wednesday evening.

The Lancers, who returned to the No. 1 spot on the CIS Top Ten rankings after a near three month hiatus, continued their run of dominant victories, defeating their 14th consecutive opponent by 20 or more points to improve to a conference mark of 14-1. They sit atop the OUA West division heading into the weekend's matches, one game ahead of the Laurier Golden Hawks (13-2).
Clemencon earned a double-double in the win, bringing down 15 rebounds, also a contest-high, while
Korissa Williams added 15 for the Lancers. Four players tallied eight points for the three-time defending national champions, and Jenny Vaughan responded with 28 for the Mustangs (11-4), who sit third in the division.
After facing a 2-point deficit through the opening 10 minutes of the contest, the Lancers took hold of the contest in the second quarter, outscoring the Mustangs 30-9 to take a 54-34 lead into halftime. Windsor then matched the hosts point production through the final two quarters en route to the victory.
Windsor shot 42.1% compared to 38.7% from the Mustangs, and was 16-of-20 from the free-throw line.
