Women's Basketball dominates Warriors

Box Score The No. 1 Lancer women's basketball team dominated the visiting Waterloo Warriors 106-35 on Sunday afternoon on Youth Basketball Day and the St. Denis Centre.

With their 15th straight win, the Lancers are now 15-1 on the season and in sole possession of first place in the OUA west division.

The Blue & Gold were led by Korissa Williams who had 15 points and 6 rebounds, and Caitlyn Longmuir who also had 15 points, a season high for the sophomore guard. Four other Lancers hit double digits, while all players registered points on the boxscore. Fifth year Miah-Marie Langlois had 14 points, Jessica Clemencon has 12, Kristine Lalonde chipped in 11, while Tessa Kreiger had 10 points and team high 6 rebounds. 

Waterloo was led by Madison Behr with 10 points ,and Mackenzie Loughead who had a game high 7 rebounds. 

Windsor controlled the game from the opening tip and shot an impressive 57.3% in the game, compared to Waterloo's 23.1%.

The Lancers will return to the court on Wednesday night when they host the second place Laurier Golden Hawks at 6:00pm at the St. Denis Centre.
