Box Score The No. 1 Lancer women's basketball team remain undefeated heading into the holiday break with a 71-50 win over the No. 7 McMaster Marauders on Saturday night at the St. Denis Centre.

Windsor heads into the holiday with a perfect 7-0 record, while the Marauders fall to 6-2 on the season.

Korissa Williams had 18 points and 10 rebounds,
Cheyanne Roger scored 13 points and
Andrea Kiss added 11 points and 14 rebounds and
Carly Steer picked up 11 points.

Windsor led for the entire contest as they opened the game with an 8-2 run, while Roger scoring five of the eight. The Lancers led 22-14 after ten minutes of play.

In the second quarter, the Marauders picked up their game and out-scored the defending national champs 16-14 in the frame.

Windsor led 36-30 at the half, but the Marauders shot an impressive 53.8% from the field in the first frame compared to the Lancers 38.5%.

The Blue & Gold came out flying in the third and dominated the game from then on. Windsor improved from the field shooting 42.4% in the final twenty minutes while the Marauders struggled going only 24.2%.

Windsor also had an impressive game on the boards out-rebounding McMaster 47-27 in the game.

The Lancers will now take a break from the regular season until Wednesday January 7th when they host the Western Mustangs at 6:00pm at the St. Denis Centre.
