The Windsor Lancers Men's Basketball team earned a solid 95-74 victory over the Fanshawe College Hawks in their annual Chatham game held at the St. Clair College Health Plex at the Thames Campus.

Chris Oliver's squad controlled the contest from the opening tip while earning the 21-point win. Veteran forward
Alex Campbell led the scoring attack for the Lancers with 20 points.
The victory followed their previous 73-52 win over Humber College earlier in September at the St. Denis Centre.
The Lancers have enjoyed an impressive pre-season thus far as they previously defeated NCAA Division I Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne Mastodons 89-74 back in August. Standout transfer

Chris Oliver's squad has earned a pre-season victory over an NCAA Division I opponent. The Lancers previously earned wins over Oakland University, University of South Alabama, and The Citadel.
The team will have a week off before heading out west to British Columbia for the UBC Invitational tournament on October 17 and 18. The Lancers will face the Fraser Valley Crusaders in Langley on Thursday, followed by a pair of games against Thompson Rivers and the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.
The Lancers next home action will be against the Wittenburg College Tigers, on October 21, at Acadamie Ste. Cecile in their final tune-up before the regular season. This event will include a special school promotion at Academie Ste. Cecile where the Lancer players will address the students prior to the game and talk about tolerance, unity and being part of a team.
