Waterloo, ON – The No. 5 ranked Lancer men's basketball team closed out the regular season with an 87-77 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday afternoon.

Windsor captured the west division title with a 15-5 record, and will host a first round playoff game on Wednesday February 25th 7:00pm.

The Lancers were led by
Rotimi Osuntola Jr. who came off the bench to lead the game with 23 points, while
Alex Campbell had 22 points and
Evan Matthews chipped in 15. Both Campbell and Matthews also had a team high nine rebounds each.

Down 28-21 after the first quarter, the Lancers out-scored the hosts 18-11 to send the game into the locker rooms deadlocked at 33. In the second half, the game remained close until the fourth when the Lancers finally broke free outscoring Laurier 21-13 in the final ten minutes to earn the comfortable victory.

Windsor shot 46% from the field, compared to the Hawks 36%, while both teams were equal from the line shooting 66.7%.
