The Lancer football team dropped a 52-24 decision to the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday afternoon in Ottawa.
 
With the loss, the Lancers are still winless on the season with a 0-4 record, while the Gee-Gees improved to 2-1 with the win.
 
Windsor gained late life, scoring 21 of their 24 points in the fourth quarter. The Lancers finished with 457 total offensive yards including 115 on the ground. A 75-yard touchdown reception by 
Gilbert Stewart on the final play of the game brought his team-high total to 139 yards as part of quarterback 
Liam Putt's 24-for-41 performance. Putt finished the game with 376 yards and a TD.
 
Windsor's other scoring plays came from Terrance Crawford with two rushing touchdowns and a 31-yard field goal from 
Hugh Paulin.
 
The Lancers will now travel to Waterloo next Saturday and will face the Laurier Golden Hawks at 1:00pm. The game can be seen live at
