The Lancer women's basketball team edged the Laurier Golden Hawks 72-69 Wednesday night at the Athletic Complex Gym in Waterloo, ON.

The victory sweeps the season series for Windsor and improves them to 8-4 on the season and into second place in the OUA west division standings, while the Golden Hawks fall to 6-6 and sit in third behind the Lancers. 

Emily Prevost led all scorers with a season high 31-points and 10 rebounds, while Cheyanne Roger chipped in 15 points and Andrea Kiss had 12.

The Lancers will return home on Saturday afternoon to host the Waterloo Warriors at 3:00pm at the St. Denis Centre.
